So I went to try on a pair of jeans (well several pairs) and I saw a sign in the dressing room, “Please keep on undergarments while trying on swimwear”. In my opinion I would like you to keep on your undergarments while trying anything on.

I am not a big girl by any means. I am quite curvy, but no one would see me and think I am big. Now I am not small either. Though I ordered myself on outfit (yeah online clearance!) and find it odd I needed an extra large. It arrived today and I tried it on and it looks great. The outfit is from a pinup company – the spokes model is a classic pinup model and that is who the company caters to. So I would assume with the company that curves would be celebrated – it just blows me away that I am the biggest size of woman that can wear this. The fact I needed an extra large does not bother my self image – just bothers me that anyone larger than me is shit out of luck….

Lately I am having the hardest time getting motivated. I am starting to get back into the studio which feels good – but I need more work on my plate. If you don’t know other than being an artist I am a freelance graphic and web design as well art installer.

Book Review: Patricia Cornwell – Red Mist – BLECH

So I’ll start with saying I have been a Patricia Cornwell fan since 7th grade. Picked up a book at a used bookstore and was hooked. She is actually the first author that I got hooked on and she really started me reading books for fun. So this review makes me a little sad (though reading the book made me mad)

With that, this 450 page book was crap – just plain bad. I checked it out from the library and I really want my money back from spending the time reading it. Her last 2 books were not the greatest, but this one is just terrible. It is not just the plot, but the writing style. Her books have always been easy to read and to follow – this was neither of those. Plus it did not help that everything happens in the last 100 pages – the book could have been half as long and would have gotten everything stated and would have been a much better read.

Do not waste your time or money on this one. I am sad to say I think she has jumped the shark.

Impressive Haircut

I am amazed how much a good haircut can change your outlook. I got a trim today b/c my hair had grown out a bit and my beautiful bob lost some of its shape. I feel so much better with my awesome new hair. I hope the next time I go in I have enough enough to get my hair dyed too!

you know its been a crappy day when the biggest accomplishment you’ve had is that your phlegm is becoming clearer. Been sick for 3 days now – today was the first day I was able to get out of bed for more than 10 min. YEAH!

So I am a lifetime loser. Honestly – I never win anything. The last thing I won I think was an ice cream cake when I was around 8. Plus my sister ate the last piece and I am still pissed about that. Anyway I just won a raffle I entered. YEAH!!! It is not a big prize, but it is something I want!
